Marco Taisch, Full Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, has combined a distinguished academic career with an active consultancy work for businesses and institutions.
Currently, Marco Taisch serves as one of the coordinators of the Manufacturing Group within the School of Management at Politecnico di Milano. He is a Board Member of EFFRA (European Factories of the Future Research Association) and the Italian Smart Factory Cluster. He is also the co-founder and scientific chairman of the World Manufacturing Foundation, which organizes the World Manufacturing Forum, serving as the global event to set the manufacturing agenda.
Additionally, he holds the position of President at MADE – Competence Center Industria 4.0 and is a founding member of Miraitek, a spin-off from Politecnico di Milano specializing in Industry 4.0 topics. Finally, he serves as President of MICS, the hub for the Made In Italy Circolare e Sostenibile project – Extended Partnership 11, which is funded by the Ministry of University and Research as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
