Nicola Lanzetta, who was born in 1964,has a degreeinInformation Technology fromthe University of Pisa. He is married and has two children. Hebecame the Enel Group’sHead of Country Italy inDecember 2021. Prior to that, from 2014 he served as Head of Market Italy and was a member of Team Innovation Italy and the International Market Teamwhich wasresponsiblefor sharing best practices between all the countries where the Group ispresent.
He has also served as Chairman of theBoard of various Enel Group companies, including: Enel Energia S.p.A., Enel Servizio Elettrico S.p.A., EnelSi S.p.A. andEnel Sole S.p.A.
He joined the Enel Group in 2001, first working oncompany integration and then ontrainingat Enel Gas S.p.A.and lateron thelaunch of the Enel Energia commercial network duringthe first phase of retail marketderegulation.
Healso serves asChairman of the Energia di AssolombardaGroup and is a member of the board of Confimprese.
