Pietro Foti was born in Reggio Calabria in 1963. After graduating in civil hydraulic engineering from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome, he followed university courses in VIA and in Planning and Management of water resources. Freelancer from 1989 to 2005, he collaborated with companies specializing in hydraulic and environmental engineering, was a designer, construction manager, tester of numerous public works, administrator and technical director of construction companies.
From 2001 to 2005 he was Territorial Project Manager at the Calabria Region. Since 2005 he has been a tenured manager at the Province of Reggio Calabria, then at the Metropolitan City of RC, dealing with planning, programming, urban planning, school and sports buildings, roads, soil protection, environment. He is currently manager of the Planning – Land Development – Special Laws Sector of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria and follows, among other things, the implementation of some measures of the PNRR such as the Integrated Urban Plans and Urban Forestry
