Fiorenzo Parrinello, born in 1962 and happily married to Claudia, is a proud grandfather of three wonderful grandchildren. He graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Bologna and has forged an extraordinary career in the field of research and development.
With an unwavering passion for innovation, Fiorenzo has made his mark in various sectors, including heterogeneous catalysis, packaging, plastic , fiber processing and laser applications. His creativity has led him to become the author of numerous significant scientific publications.
Fiorenzo is also a prolific inventor and co-inventor of more than 110 patents, a testament to his commitment to breaking new ground and finding innovative solutions. His career has flourished at SACMI, where he founded and directed the Rigid Packaging Technologies Laboratory. Moreover, he has served as Director of Research and Development for the BU Rigid Packaging Technologies and currently holds the position of Innovation Corporate Director within the SACMI Group.
Beyond these leadership roles, Fiorenzo Parrinello is an active member of various organizations, including the Board of Directors of MICS and the board of directors of AIM. He is also an Advisory Member to the faculties of Industrial Chemistry at the Universities of Bologna and Genoa.
His primary commitment is to support the researchers within his company in their research and development endeavors, with the goal of nurturing the world’s finest talents. For Fiorenzo, the most valuable asset is people, and the guiding light of his actions is constant innovation and individual and corporate growth.
