RINA Marine Rules & Regulation Centre Senior Engineer
I have been working in RINA for more than 15 years, as part of the Marine Rules and Regulation Centre. I participate – as advisor of the Italian Administration – in the periodic sessions of the Committees of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the agency of the United Nations responsible for the development and updating of the International Conventions for the safety of life at sea and the prevention of pollution from ships. Within the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), I represent RINA in the IACS Expert Group on European Issues (EG/EU) and I closely follow the legislative process of the measures of the Fit for 55 Package, aiming to achieve the decarbonization objectives set by the European Union for 2030.
